 The hospital commenced operations as a centre of excellence for ophthalmology with state-of-the-art devices and technology available for ophthalmology surgeries at an affordable cost for the needy sections of the society. Over time, the hospital diversified its operations to mainstream specialties such as general surgery, urology, orthopaedics and internal medicine.
